Spicer storms out of press briefing without taking questions

Date:

Washington: White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Tuesday stunned the media after he left his press briefing without taking any questions.

Spicer left his press briefing after White House budget director Mick Mulvaney spoke to the press about a bipartisan budget agreement that would keep the government funded until September, the Independent reported.

Spicer left the briefing room with Mulvaney after he had finished with his briefing.

Reporters could be heard shouting his name but he did not respond.

This was an unusual decision to leave a press briefing without any reason.

Spicer was expected to answer questions on several other topics aside from the budget deal, including a phone call between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
