Check out Asia’s biggest church which is situated in Nagaland

The Sumi Baptist Church situated in the Zunheboto town of Nagaland becomes the largest church in Asia and is now open to the public, stands tall at 1864.9 m above sea level and measures 23,73,476 sq ft in the plinth area.

The construction of the church took 10 years and is built with worth 36 crores, with a seating capacity of 8,5000 people, the church houses 27 rooms for the sick, bride and groom dressing, cafeteria, offices, conferences, training, baptism pool, etc.

The church measures 203 ft in length, 153 ft in breadth and 166 ft in height. The bell of the church weighs 500 kg which is imported from Poland.
