The tenth season of the IPL 2017 will run from April 5 to May 21. The player auction takes place at Bangalore today, by the eight franchises. At the undergoing auction, 351 cricketers will go under the hammer. NewsMobile brings you a quick: All you need to know:

Out of 351 cricketers up for auction, 226 are Indian and the rest overseas players. There are 122 capped, 223 uncapped and six Associates players. However, a total of 76 players can be purchased.

There are seven players with a top base price bracket of Rs 2 crore: Angelo Mathews, Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes, Eoin Morgan, Ishant Sharma, Mitchell Johnson and Pat Cummins.

How much can the franchises spend?

Kings Xi Punjab have the most funds in their purse, Rs 23.35 crore. The Mohali-based franchise released just four players from their squad during the off-season, which is he fewest among all teams.
Delhi Daredevils with Rs 21.5 crore.
Current champions Sunrisers Hyderabad with Rs 20.9 crore.
Others being, Kolkata Knight Riders with Rs 19.75 crore, Rising Pune Supergiants (Rs 19.1 crore), Gujarat Lions (Rs 14.35 crore), Royal Challengers Bangalore (Rs 12.825 crore) and Mumbai Indians (Rs 11.555 crore).

Are Pakistan cricketer part of the list?
No. But Pakistan-born Imran Tahir (South Africa) and Yasir Arafat (England) have qualified as overseas players.
