17-year old kidnapped from Gurgaon, raped in Dwarka

Gurgaon: In an alarming incident, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by two acquaintances in national capital’s Dwarka, Gurgaon police said on Tuesday.

First year BBA student at a college in Noida, is a resident of a Farukhnagar village, 30 kilometres from Gurgaon.

According to report, the victim told cops at Farukhnagar police station that she had come in touch with two youths, Sanjay Kumar from Bhiwani in Haryana and Rajesh Kumar from Najafgarh in Delhi some time ago.

On Sunday, the girl, who stays with her uncle in Noida, visited her family in the Farukhnagar village when the two youths, accused in the case, asked her to meet on Sunday, she said.

According to the complaint, they later took her to a room in Dwarka’s sector 9 where they demanded Rs 2 Lakh from her as they said they were in possession of recordings of her phone conversation with them. Then, they raped her and also threatened to kill her if she made it public, she told police.

“After raping me they dumped me in my village late night on Sunday,” the victim said in the complaint.

Based on her complaint, a zero FIR (not in the police station’s jurisdiction) was lodged against the two accused. They were charged with rape, criminal intimidation, abduction, among other sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC), at Farukhnagar police station.

Meanwhile, the incident came into light day after a 34-year-old woman from Meghalaya was stabbed nearly 30 times by a 26-year-old stalker in full public view at MG Road Metro station in Gurgaon.
