Mumbai, Sep 20 (PTI) Small sugar prices edged down in anotherwise listless Vashi wholesale market here today followingmild demand from stockists and bulk consumers. While, medium sugar ruled steady in the absence of anylarge-scale buying activity. Small sugar (S-30) prices eased by Rs 2 per quintal atRs 3,610/3,755 from Monday’s close at Rs 3,612/3,755. However, medium sugar (M-30) closed unchanged at Rs3,716/3,862 per quintal. Following are today’s closing rates for sugar (perquintal) with the previous rates given in brackets: Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,610/3,755 (Rs3,612/3,755).
