Jammu, Sep 20 (PTI) The Jammu and Kashmir BJP unit todaydemanded that the Centre should initiate a multi-prongedstrategy against Pakistan in the wake of the terror attack onarmy camp in Uri in which 18 soldiers were killed. "The government of India should initiate a multi-prongedstrategy against Pakistan apart from giving a befitting armyresponse at an appropriate time and place of choice," stateBJP spokesperson Virender Gupta said Other options, including isolating Pakistan and gettingenforced sanctions against the country by the internationalCommunity, isolating it among the SAARC nations, excluding itfrom the list of preferred nations and exposing theneighbouring country before the world community and getting itdeclared as terrorist state, should be adopted, he said. Gupta said the Centre should snap diplomatic ties withPakistan and expose it for alleged human rights violations inPakistan occupied Kashmir (POK), Gilgit Baltistan andBalochistan. It is a good signal that the UN Secretary General Ban KiMoon, France, US, UK, China, Afghanistan and Russia havecondemned the terrorist attack and expressed their solidaritywith India, he added.
