ACB books veterinary assistant in Rs 2.25 crore DA case

Hyderabad, Sept 20 (PTI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)today unearthed assets worth about Rs 2.25 crore allegedlyamassed by a veterinary assistant in Medak district ofTelangana. "A case of disproportionate assets was registeredagainst G Venkteshwar Reddy, veterinary assistant surgeon atveterinary dispensary in Kistareddypet of Medak district andsimultaneous searches were conducted at the office, residencesof Reddy and his relatives at Gachibowli and Miyapur here," anACB release said. "During the searches, one duplex house, seven openplots, one car, one locker at a bank with diamond jewelleryworth Rs 11 lakh were found. The market value of theproperties is about Rs 2.25 crore," the ACB said adding thatReddy will be arrested. PTI VVK NPBSASRE
