Child among 4 killed in road mishap in Kannur

Kannur, Sep 16 (PTI) Four persons, including a couple anda child, were killed and as many others injured today in acollision between an auto-rickshaw and a lorry here today,police said. Nine persons, including the driver, were travelling in theauto-rickshaw when the accident occurred this evening, theysaid. Three of the deceased – the couple and a three-year-oldgirl, daughter of their relative, were travelling in theauto-rickshaw, police said, adding that the identity of thefourth one was not immediately known. Four others were injured and had been hospitalised. The condition of two children was stated to be serious.PTI CORR UD VSCPSMAV
