Unemployment biggest problem for youth: BSF exam topper

Jammu, Sep 10 (PTI) The topper of the BSF AssistantCommandant’s exam, Nabeel Ahmed Wani, feels that unemploymentis the biggest problem being faced by the youth which can onlybe solved by education. The resident of Jammu and Kashmir said it was his dreamto join the defence forces and serve the country which has nowbeen fulfilled. Terming unemployment as the biggest problem, he said,"The more we get education the better and more jobs we willget." "We cannot get education by taking to stones but byholding a pen," Wani, who is currently a Junior Engineer inUdhampur, said. "I had made it my aim to join the defence forces. I hadappeared in various exams including the armed forces and BSF.I am happy I topped BSF Assistant Commandant’s exams," hesaid. Wani had lost his father, who was a teacher byprofession, some years ago. "I belong to a village. We had no sources but my motherand father supported me. I did my engineering from Punjab andobtained the first rank in the exams," he said. He also expressed satisfaction that his father’s dream ofhim joining the armed forces as an officer was fulfilled.
