Farmers’ ailing bulls get treatment on tehsildar’s direction

Khargone (MP), Sept 6 (PTI) Two farmers from Kukdolvillage walked 15 kms along with their four ailing bulls toreach district collectorate seeking help for treatment of thebovines. Anar Singh and Dhyan Singh entered the collectoratewhen a public grievance redressal camp was on. The people standing in queues were surprised to seethe bulls among them, so was Tehsildar Ashish Khare who washearing the public grievances in absence of Collector AKSingh. The farmers told Khare that they took the bulls todistrict veterinary hospital this morning but the doctorsthere asked them to buy medicine and injections from privatedrug shops. The farmers claimed that doctors showed them door whenthey expressed their inability to buy the costly medicines. After hearing them, Khare directed deputy Director,Animal Husbandry, to contact the doctors at the veterinaryhospital over mobile phone and ensure that bulls are treated. After the farmers reached the hospital, the bulls weretreated by doctors. Khare told PTI that he has ordered a probe into therefusal by vets to treat the bovines. PTI COR LALNSK
