Ration dealer held for hoarding govt sugar

Jammu, Sep 3 (PTI) A ration dealer was today arrested and44 bags of government sugar meant for distribution amongstpublic seized from his posssession in Kathua district, policesaid. "We have arrested a ration dealer from Rajbagh area andrecovered 44 bags of sugar meant for the general public of thearea on government subsidized rates, which he had hoarded," apolice spokesman said. The accused has been identified as Onkar Singh. "A case under various sections has been registered againstthe accused and further investigation has been initiated," thepolice spokesman said.
