Uzbek prez in intensive care after brain haemorrhage: daughter

Moscow, Aug 29 (AFP) Uzbek President Islam Karimov is inintensive care after suffering a brain haemorrhage, hisyounger daughter wrote on social media today. "My father was hospitalised after suffering a cerebralhaemorrhage on Saturday morning, and is now receivingtreatment in an intensive care unit," Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva,Uzbekistan’s ambassador to UNESCO, wrote on Instagram of the78-year-old leader, adding that "his condition is consideredstable."
