Mumbai, Aug 23 (PTI) Prices maintained a steady trend inan otherwise mute spices market here today due to absence ofany large-scale demand from stockists amid ample stockpositions. Following are today’s closing rates (in Rs) with previousrates in brackets: Black pepper (per kg) 735/805 (735/805), ginger bleached(per kg) 150 (150), ginger unbleached (per kg) 170 (170),copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 6,600 (6,600), copraoffice Kozhikode (per quintal) 6,500 (6,500), copra RajapurMumbai (per quintal) 10,500 (10,500), copra edible Mumbai (perquintal) 7,700 (7,700).
