Max Bupa inks bancassurance tie-up with SUPGB

Mumbai, Aug 23 (PTI) Private health insurer Max BupaHealth Insurance today said it has entered into abancassurance tie-up with Sarva UP Gramin Bank (SUPGB). Max Bupa will provide comprehensive and family orientedhealth insurance products to the bank’s private healthinsurers customers to help them access quality health care ataffordable premiums, the company said in a release. Under the partnership, Max Bupa will provide customisedindemnity and fixed benefit health plans to the 35 lakhaccount holders of the bank across 17 districts in UPincluding Bijnore, Badayun, Gonda, Balrampur, Ghaziabad,Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Jhansi at an attractive annual premiumof Rs 1,557 for Rs 50,000 health policy and Rs 2,008 for a Rs1 lakh health policy. "Our endeavour is to aid the accessibility of quality andaffordable health care for the bank customers. With compellingfeatures like pre-existing coverage from day 1, maternitybenefits and immunisation cover for the new born, ourspecialised products will cater to the diverse health needs ofthe bank’s customers," Max Bupa Health Insurance ManagingDirector and CEO Ashish Mehrotra said.
