ISI agent nabbed in UP

Lucknow, Aug 23 (PTI) A suspected ISI agent was todayarrested here by a joint team of Uttar Pradesh Anti TerroristSquad (ATS) and Rajasthan CID. "Jamaluddin, a resident of Ghazipur, has been arrestedfrom Trans-Gomti area here. He used to distribute money toother agents on directives of ISI after receiving it from theUAE," Additional Director General, Law and Order, Daljeet SinghChowdhury said. The accused had transferred money to Gordhan Singh, whowas arrested on December 27, 2015 from Pokhran in Rajasthan, hesaid. Singh had allegedly leaked military information toPakistani spy agency ISI. "The probe is on and besides ATS, Rajasthan CID andintelligence agencies are interrogating him," he said. The officer, however, did not divulge more details aboutthe arrested agent. ATS is likely to hold a press conference tomorrow to briefabout the arrest. PTI ABN DIP SMNDIP
