HC notice to CBSE on NEET paper leak

Nainital, Aug 20 (PTI) Uttarakhand High Court has sentnotices to the CBSE and Nainital police on alleged leak ofNational Eligibility Entrance Test papers in the district aday ahead of the examination on July 23. Issuing the notices on Thursday, Justice SudhanshuDhuliya of the High Court directed the CBSE and NainitalPolice to file a reply within two weeks and posted the matterfor next hearing on September 5. The notices were issued on a PIL filed by a Rajasthanresident Anshul Sharma seeking cancellation of the test on thegrounds that the question papers were allegedly leaked on theeve of the exam conducted by CBSE. In the petition, it has been alleged that on the night ofJuly 22, 44 examinees received exam papers along with theanswer key in exchange for a large sum of money. Early on July 23, Nainital police busted a gang that wasallegedly leaking the papers and three people were arrestedfrom a resort at Dhikuli near Ramnagar. PTI CORR ALMRT
