Karna police arrests one person in connection with blast case

Erode (TN), Aug 16 (PTI) A 43-year-old man has beenarrested at Sathyamanagalam in the district by a team ofKarnataka police in connection with the 2013 Bengaluru bombblast case in which 17 persons suffered injuries, police saidtoday. Mohammed Ali Khan has been arrested by a five-memberpolice team while he was having tea at a shop yesterday,police said. KhanÂ’s family members had lodged a complaint withSathyamangalam police that he was kidnapped by some persons. Sathyamangalam police after holding an investigationlater informed the family members that he was arrested by ateam of police officials led Venkatesh, Deputy Superintendentof Police, Bengaluru in connection with the April-2013 bombblast near the BJP office.
