Criticising Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, the AIADMK MLAsaid, instead of ordering a probe into the incidents, he hadsaid Goondas Act would be invoked against those fanningcommunal clashes, which was not sufficient. CPI (M) Puducherry unit Secretary R Rajangam criticised the’failure of the police to prevent attack on mosque’ here andsought a high-level probe into the incident. The incident occurred on Sunday when a public meeting wasorganised by the Hindu Munnani near the mosque in Orleanpet.
