Reportedly, a laptop and a Zika- protective team shirts were stolen. When the small fire broke, the smoke alarms were turned off in their accommodation.
Australian team boss Kitty Chiller said, “Obviously that is completely unacceptable that a) the fire alarm was disabled and b) that if it had to be, that we weren’t warned about that.” Chiller saw three people taking away the shirts, but she didn’t stop them, as she thought that they were gifted.
