SRK-Kajol’s love anthem gets #GeruaFastest5mViews

Shah Rukh and Kajol’s dream pairing in a film is bound to melt thousands of hearts and that is what exactly happened as soon as the song Gerua got released from Rohit Shetty’s upcoming flick Dilwale. The love anthem of the year got a spectacular response from the audience and started trending all over the social networking sites too.

According to reports, the song, which was launched on Wednesday, was trending in 62 countries across the world at the same time. The official video got 1.6 million views on Facebook and 1.6 million on YouTube since its release.

Within 35 hours of its release, the song by Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra got three million views on YouTube.

Talking about the song, flick’s lead Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Where I meet u, away from the sun, slipping thru the shade, a moment pauses, the sky melts into a mirror and sets within it: forming ur face.#Gerua”

Meanwhile, fans flooded micro-blogging site Twitter with comments such as, “I loved #Gerua because of the nostalgic feel it gave of Suraj hua maddham by @iamsrk @KajolAtUN” and “Saans, titli, manwa laage n now #Gerua @iamsrk always outdoes himself… Addicted… U r simply d best….”

Directed by Rohit Shetty, the flick that also stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kirti Sanon is slated to release on December 18.
