Yatender Kumar assumes charge of CVO

New Delhi: Yatendra Kumar, a 1996-batch Tripura cadre IAS officer, on Friday took over as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Airports Authority of India (AAI).

Prior to his appointment as the CVO of AAI, Kumar was working as Home Secretary in Tripura Government, a release said.

In a career spaning nearly two decades, he has worked in different capacities in both state and central governments.

This includes posting as District Magistrate of South Tripura and Dhalai districts, Faculty in Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie and Director in DoPT.

Besides, Kumar also worked as Director at State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development and Director Vigilance.
