Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra have finally tied the nuptial knot after a long courtship period.
The much in love couple completed their wedding rituals in Gurudwara in Bhajji’s hometown in Jalandhar. Both of them chose to go for completely traditional attire for their D day.
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar was also seen attending the wedding with Muskesh and Nita Ambani’s son Akash. The bride’s bright red attire was intricately designed by ace designer Archana Kochhar and the groom complemented her in a red and white outfit.
Earlier, a mehendi and sangeet ceremony was also held at Harbhajan’s Jalandhar home.
The couple has planned to throw a grand wedding reception party on November 1st in the Capital and according to the reports; Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also likely to attend the reception.
Harbhajan had visited Prime Minister at his residence to personally invite him for the wedding function.
In what may be seen as quite contrary to the veteran cricketer’s image; Harbhajan went down to his knees to propose his lady love. The cricketer seems to be very much in love with his long-time girlfriend and now his wife Geeta Basra.
