Date:

There seems to be no end to the capital shame. Less than a week after a 4 year old was brutally gang-raped in south west delhi; two more cases of minor girls being raped has surfaced in the capital.

In the first case, a two-and-a-half-year-old toddler was allegedly raped by two men who abducted her from outside her home in West Delhi’s Nangloi area. The baby was found bleeding profusely in a park by neighbours.

The girl’s mother has claimed that she was abducted while she was watching a ramleela performance near her house
The condition of the victim is said to be serious after doctors had to perform surgery to stop bleeding. Doctors said that the girl has suffered severe injuries in her private parts in the brutal attack.

In another case on the same day, a five-year-old was raped allegedly by three men in east Delhi’s Anand Vihar area. The girl was reportedly alone at home when one of the accused, her neighbour, took her to his house and then allegedly raped her along with his friends.

According to reports, her neighbours saw her coming out of the accused’s house and informed the police. “She was crying and her clothes were soaked with blood,” one of them has told police.

While three accused have been arrested in the second case, the police has failed to make any arrest in the first case.
