Sonia hits out at PM Modi in #BattleforBihar rally

Date:

It’s the big political fight in Bihar and Congress is leaving no stone unturned in projecting itself as a strong contender. While addressing a rally in Bhagalpur, Bihar today Congress President Sonia Gandhi slammed PM Modi saying he is an expert in ‘packaging’ and ‘repackaging’ and he is misleading the people of Bihar by making false promises to them.

“Bihar election will give a new direction to the nation. In this election you have to decide whether you want the nation to progress towards friction or towards peace and development,” she added.

The AICC Chief is scheduled to address another rally in Birgunj near Gaya today, where polling will be held in the second phase on October 16.

Last month, in his first rally in Bihar, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had hit out at Modi, alleging that he only met people wearing ‘suits and boots’ and has stopped talking to the country’s poor.

Bihar goes to polls in five phases starting from October 12 and the fate of Bihar will be sealed on November 8 when the counting happens.
