Jagga Jasoos in trouble again?

Date:

Trouble mounting over Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ seems never-ending. The detective film, which was scheduled to hit the screen this year, is going through so much trouble that in all probability, it will only release in 2016.

Earlier, it was stated that after shooting 60% of the film, the makers have decided to alter the storytelling format of the film. After that came the news that Govinda walked out of the project.

And now according to latest buzz, the director and his leading lady Katrina Kaif had a fall-out over the way Katrina’s role and scenes are to be interpreted.

According to a source, “Kat is not the kind of actress who throws tantrums. But there was a perceptional gap between the actor and her director from the start; something Ranbir Kapoor, who is close to both Anurag and Katrina, couldn’t bridge.”

Things came to a head when Basu scolded Katrina for doing a scene wrongly in front of the entire unit.

According to an eyewitness, “He spoke loudly. The snub was loud and clear. Katrina didn’t storm off or anything. She just left very quietly. Ranbir didn’t interfere. This was his ladylove getting hurt by one of his closest friends. Ranbir isn’t getting into it.”

With the stalemate between Anurag and Katrina showing no signs of thawing, the much-delayed and much-troubled project has now gotten itself into more trouble.
