Lucknow: Devesh Chaturvedi, the 1989-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, has been cleared for central deputation.
Currently posted as principal secretary of UP planning department, Devesh Chaturvedi will be joining as joint secretary at Delhi in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), an official spokesmen said.
On the other hand, the Additional Secretary in the Defence Ministry Anoop Chandra Pandey, is likely to join back in his parent cadre of Uttar Pradesh in the coming days. Pandey is 1984-batch officer and has completed his successful tenure at the Centre on deputation.
