Aishwarya in Milan invited by Giorgio Armani

Date:

Mumbai: Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is known for her impeccable sense of style, is in Milan to attend the 40th anniversary celebrations of Italian fashion brand Armani.

After Sonam Kapoor, it is believed that Aishwarya bagged her very own golden ticket that was personally sent to her by Giorgio Armani.

She has also been invited to the opening of an Armani museum in Milan. In January this year, actress Sonam Kapoor attended the Paris show of Armani’s 2015 Spring Collection at the behest of the designer.

Last year, Aishwarya shimmered in a delicately beaded Armani Prive dress as she hosted the amfAR gala at Cannes with husband Abhishek.

They will chair this year’s gala on May 21, with Natalie Portman, Rosario Dawson, Jake Gyllenhaal, the Coen Brothers and other Hollywood bigwigs. The Cannes film festival will be held from May 13-24.

Aishwarya, who has represented L’Oreal at Cannes since 2003, will be joined this year on the red carpet by Sonam and Cannes debutante Katrina Kaif.

Meanwhile on the film front, Aishwarya is currently working on Sanjay Gupta’s Jazbaa that also features Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi.

Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film is slated to release this October.
