New Delhi: Just a day ahead of the Aam Aadmi Party’s National Executive, that is scheduled for Saturday, the stage is set for a massive showdown as senior AAP leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav along with Prof. Anand Kumar and Amit Jha attacked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The power tussle among senior leaders first came to the fore at the February 26 National Executive meeting where allegations emerged that the two senior leaders were conspiring against the party and its National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal .
The rift widened further after the party made national headlines almost daily as letters, blogs and sting tapes surfaced. The party now is divided into two factions: one that is backing Arvind Kejriwal and another that is backing Yogendra and Prashant.
The remaining political parties have their eyes set on the way the unique political experiment called AAP shapes in Delhi where the rebel duo may be sacked from the party.
Here is the lowdown of the fight between AAP vs Yogendra Yadav/Prashant Bhushan
Team AAP says:
 1.      AAP leaders backing Arvind allege that the rebel-duo was indulging in anti-party activities.
2.      The duo was making anti-party statements during the Delhi state elections.
3.      The duo got many stories against Kejriwal and the party planted in the media during elections. Â
4.      The duo is greedy for power and wants to steer AAP’s ship.
5.      The leaders are efficient in double-speak which makes it hard to repose faith in them.

Team Yogendra Yadav/ Prashant Bhushan says:
1.      There is no internal democracy in the party
2.      No volunteer participation to make decision about contesting elections.
3.      No probe offered to party Lokpal on complaints against candidates.
4.      Party not following transparency: the principal on which it was formed.
5.      Horse-trading in June last year to form government.
