London: People who tend to get angry frequently are more at risk for heart attacks or strokes. According to a study published in the European Heart Journal, people are more at risk within the two hours following the outburst.

Somebody who gets angry several times a day with cardiovascular diseases has a chance of 650 out of 10, 000 heart attacks a year. While a person who is relatively at low risk, but gets angry fairly frequently, the estimate would be about 150 out of 10,000 heart attacks.

Smoking, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, overweight and diabetes are all risk factors, and an estimated 17 million people worldwide die of cardiovascular diseases.
