The suspension of seven Congress MPs, who were suspended till the remaining period of the ongoing Budget session, from the Lok Sabha was withdrawn on Wednesday.
The Congress MPs were suspended on March 5 for ‘gross misconduct’ after they trooped to the Well of the House and snatched papers from the Speaker’s table.
The revocation came a week after a motion on the suspension was passed by a voice vote. The MPs who were suspended till April 3 are – Gaurav Gogoi, T N Prathapan, Dean Kuriakose, Manickam Tagore, Rajmohan Unnithan, Benny Behanan and Gurjeet Singh Aujla.

Earlier in the day, Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned for an hour till 1.30 pm after an uproar over the issue by the Congress MPs.
