FACT CHECK

Team of fact-checkers at NewsMobile checked the viral claim and found it to be FAKE.

While digging for the facts, we found the video of PM Modi when he arrived in Washington on June 24th, 2017. In the 6 min long video which was uploaded on India’s national broadcaster DD News’ YouTube channel, PM Modi can be seen getting off from the plane and being received by Indian and US authorities but President Donald Trump was not there.

We further scanned through the official social media handles of President Donald Trump and The White House but there was no such claim made by the authorities at White House or by President Trump himself.

Hence, it is proved that the above post is FAKE.
