‘Rajnikant’s residence has a bomb’, Police receives a hoax call

Amid fresh lockdown in Chennai and its neighboring district, Rajnikant, the Tamil Superstar found the police at his doorstep after they received an anonymous call saying there was a bomb placed at his Poes Garden residence on Thursday. Later it was found to be a hoax call.

According to the police, the hoax call was made by a boy studying in class 8. The police reported that the kid hails from Nellikuppam in Cuddalore and is mentally unsound. Teynampet Assistant Commissioner, Govindharaj said that the prank call was made by a person who had called 108 and claimed that he had planted the bombs at the actor’s residence. “Immediately, the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) was rushed to Rajnikanth’s house.” But the call was just a hoax
