Gujarat, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu have reported a high number of cases in the nation.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Karnataka currently has 2,418 cases. However, as many as 118 out of the total 135 cases reported in the last 24 hours have been imported from other states.

State Law Minister JC Madhuswamy said: “We will see that no infected person Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu will enter the state for next 10-15 days due to the heavy load.”

The state is facing various issues related to quarantining of passengers entering the state.

With the opening of the civil aviation in the domestic sector, the state expects to receive about 15,000 passengers everyday and is wary of this number.
