As Lockdown 3.0 enters its last leg, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the nation on Tuesday at 8 PM.
This will be the third direct address to the nation since the national lockdown had been imposed since March 24.
The Prime Minister held an extensive meeting on Monday with the Chief Ministers of all the States and Union Territories and sought their views on the prevailing lockdown which has been extended twice since the time it was first imposed.

PM Modi is expected to spell out the broad contours of the way forward from here on. While several states have sought an extension of the lockdown given the spike in cases, some other are underlining for more relaxations so that the economy can be put back on track.
While the lockdown has been credited with helping India contain the chain of transmission to some extent, it has also resulted in problems like the migrant exodus from big cities.
Presently, India has 70,756 cases and has reported 2,293 deaths due to Covid-19.
