COVID-19: China reports drop in number of imported cases; epicentre shifting towards US, says WHO

Date:

China has reported a drop in the number of imported cases of COVID-19 and zero fresh transmission cases on Wednesday. This development came even as the World Health Organization (WHO) warned that the epicentre of the virus is shifting towards the US.

The US has reported over 55,000 positive cases and over 650 deaths.

This drop in the number of imported cases in the US can be attributed to the severe travel restrictions placed on flights operating internationally.
