Fact Check: This video of crowd vandalizing homes on the street is NOT from Delhi

Yet another video of violence is being shared online with a claim that it is from the recent Delhi riots.

“आप दिल्ली पुलिस के कारनामे खुद देख सकते है!” the caption read.

At the time of filing the report, the above post had more thank 35,000 shares on Facebook.

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the video and found the claim to be false.

We extracted the keyframes on the video using InVID took and put them through Reverse Image search, our search on Yandex led us to the same video uploaded on YouTube on Jun 30, 2019.

We ran a Google search using relevant keywords and found a report dated June 28, 2019, stating that the clash took place between the BJP and the TMC workers following allegations of cattle smuggling.

This proves that the viral video is OLD and is not from Delhi.
