Did Delhiites attack Zee News office over a remark by Sudhir Chaudhary? Here’s the truth

Two pictures are being shared on social media with a claim that Delhi people attacked Zee News office for being called freeloaders and traitors. 

“दिल्ली के लोगों को मुफ्तखोर और गद्दार कहने पर भड़की दिल्ली की जनता… ज़ी न्यूज़ के ऑफिस पर लोगो का हमला
बधाई हो😂” – the caption read.

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found the claim to be fake.

On putting the images through Reverse Image Search, we found one of the images on the official Twitter account of Maharashtra Congress dated 2017. The image was taken when the Mumbai Regional Congress office was vandalized by unidentified people.

We also found that the picture of Sudhir Chaudhary is from 2019 when he was injured during an accident while he was visiting Mumbai. He also posted the video on his Facebook Page.

The above information proves that the viral post is FAKE.
