Fact Check: This video of an argument between B.S. Yediyurappa and Vachananda Swami is not related to CAA

A video is being shared on social media with a claim that Chief Minister of Karnataka, B.S. Yediyurappa, rose angrily from his seat after a seer protested against CAA. 

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the video and found that it is not related to CAA at all.

On taking out the keyframes of the video and putting it through Reverse Image Search, we found a tweet by newswire ANI.

As per the tweet, Panchamasali Mutt seer Vachananda Swami threatened Yediyurappa and said that “Yediyurappa will lose support of Panchamasali Lingayaths, if not accommodated.”

We found the video on the YouTube channel of  Tv9 Kannada .

The same incident was reported by several media housed also.

The above information proves that the claim attached to the viral video is false.
