A picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making rounds on social media in which he can be seen holding a placard.

The text on placard in Hindi read: “नोटा वालों में बाबा साहेब के भक्त हूँ और उनकी वजह से भारत का प्रधानमंत्री बना हूँ SC/ST act और पदोन्नति में आरक्षण हमारे प्रमुख कार्य हैं प्रधानमंत्री मोदी”

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be FAKE.

On putting the above picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture in which PM Modi can be seen without any placard.

The picture is from August 2015 during a rally in Bihar’s Arrah.

In the above FAKE vs REAL collage, it is clear that the original picture was manipulated using photo editing software to create a FAKE image.
