FAKE Alert: Jyotiraditya Scindia has NOT quit the Congress party

Soon after Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia removed the party’s name from his Twitter bio, a post is doing rounds on social media according to which Scindia has left the Congress party and has joined BJP.

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found the claims to be FAKE.

The Congress leader himself tweeted calling it ”Ridiculous commotion over a twitter profile change done almost a month ago!”

 

The Cong leader told news agency ANI: “A month back I had changed my bio on Twitter. On people’s advice, I had made my bio shorter. Rumours regarding this are baseless.”

Scindia’s updated bio read- ”Public servant. Cricket enthusiast.”

In conclusion, the above information proves that the Congress leader hasn’t quit the Congress party.
