If you think of grand Dussehra celebrations in Delhi, there is no better place than Ramlila Maidan in Chandni Chowk. You can sight the tallest effigies of Ravana, Kumbhkaran and Meghnad over here. Besides the fireworks, there is an array of street food and you can gorge on some of the best food from the stalls.

Red Fort Lawn or Lal Quila Maidan

At this venue, you can see the best display of technology through a theatre of Ramayana. Bollywood celebrities are also often spotted here for the excitement factor. The Luv Kush Ramlila Committee organises the entire event at the Lal Quila Maidan.

DDA Grounds, Patparganj

For East Delhi residents, the Patparganj DDA Grounds host the largest Dussehra celebrations. Besides the display of fireworks, you can also hear the chants of ‘Jai Shree Ram’, that makes the venue a happy spiritual place. The grounds are located near National Victor School.

Ramlila Ground Janakpuri

In West Delhi, the Ramlila Ground in Janakpuri can be visited for the biggest Dussehra celebrations. They start with a dance drama on the first day of Navaratri till the last day when the effigies Ravana and his brothers are burned to ashes and the performances are shown through classical folk music, dance, and special effects.
