This picture of President Trump with ’tilak’ on his forehead is FAKE

Date:

A picture of US President Donald Trump is being shared online where Trump can be seen sporting ’tilak’ on his forehead.

It is being claimed that Navratra celebrations took place in The White House and the Presidents took part in the celebrations.

” वाइट हाउस में नवरात्र उत्सव मनना गया जिसमें राष्ट्पति
ट्रम्प तिलकधारी हिन्दू बन शामिल हुये ” the text claimed.

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the picture and found it to be photoshopped.

We put the picture through Reverse Image Search and found the original picture on the website of White House.

In the Fake vs Real collage it is clear that the ’tilak’ has been added using editing software.

Moreover, at the time of filing the report, we scanned through the official Twitter pages of President Trump and The White House and did not find any tweets regarding Navratri Celebration.

The above information proves that the picture has been morphed.
