Tata to launch Nexon Electric Vehicle in Q4FY20

Date:

Auto major Tata Motors announced that it would bring its first Nexon EV with Ziptron technology in the last quarter of the current fiscal. The price is expected to be between Rs 15-17 lakh.

The electric vehicle will target a range of about 300 km to address range anxiety, the company said in a statement.

Powered by Ziptron technology, Nexon EV will be equipped with an efficient high voltage system, fast charging capability, battery and motor with a warranty of 8 years, and adherence to IP67 (dust and waterproof) standard.

The company has also rolled out an extensive campaign titled #TheUltimateElectricDrive, featuring Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar, where they will be zipping from Manali to Leh, in a Nexon EV.
