Soon after the 73rd Independence Day, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor tweeted images of famous international monuments lit up in the colour of the Indian flag.

When NewsMobile fact checked the above images, we found it OLD. On putting these images through Reverse Image Search, we found the following;

We found the first image, i.e of Empire State Building lit-up in tricolour dated August 16th, 2018 on The New Indian Express.

The picture of the Burj Khalifa is from 2017 and can be found in an article on India Today on India Today. 

PICTURE 3

The picture of Niagara Falls lit up in our tricolour is also an old picture and can be found on NewsMobile website. The image is of August 16, 2017.

Thus, the above information proves that these pictures shared by actor Rishi Kapoor are OLD.
