Recently, Hima Das created history by winning her first gold in this season at the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix in Poland on July 2, followed by a second gold in 200m at the Kutno Athletics Meet in Poland. Das won her third gold in 200m at the Kladno Athletics Meet in the Czech Republic with a timing of 23.43 seconds. Her fourth gold came in 200m at the Tabor Athletics Meet on July 17.  The ace sprinter claimed her fifth gold medal, in 400m at the Nove Mesto Athletics Meet on July 20.

PM Modi, Vice Prez of India Ram Nath Kovind, various ministers, celebs and sportspersons congratulated Hima on her victory.

Hima Das -PM Modi tweet: Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted saying that India is very proud of Hima Das’s phenomenal achievements over the last few days. Hima Das responded to the Prime Minister saying that she will continue to work hard and bring more medals for India.

Hima Das -President tweet: President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted, “You’re incredible @HimaDas8 Keep sprinting, keep shining.” Hima Das responded saying that she will continue to work hard and bring more laurels to the country.

After claiming the fifth gold, Hima till now hasn’t participated in any world championships. Hence, this proves that the above mentioned post is FAKE.
