A picture is being shared on social media with a claim that a massive seahorse fossil has been found in Australia.
“Fosil in Australia….” the caption read.

When we fact-checked the post, we found it to be fake.
On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we gathered that the image has been morphed using photoshop software.
We found the image on pxleyes.com. The picture won the first prize in the Amazing Fossils – Photoshop Contest.
The artist ‘loopyluv‘ also put out each step that led to the final product.
This proves that the viral post is FAKE.
