Priyanka Chopra to be honoured with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award

Another feather in actress Priyanka Chopra’s cap as she will be honoured with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award at the Unicef Snowflake Ball. The 36-year- old actress has worked with UNICEF for over a decade and was appointed as UNICEF National Ambassador in 2010. The event is set to take place in New York in December.

She took to Twitter to show her gratitude and wrote, “So humbled. Thank you Unicef for honouring me with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award at the Unicef Snowflake Ball in December.”

She also added, “My work with Unicef on behalf of all the world’s children means everything to me. Here’s to peace, freedom and the right to education.”

Chopra has worked on various issues such as environment, health and education and expresses her views on gender equality, women’s rights and feminism. The actress frequently shares her work on her social media accounts.
