No! This man did not kill his friend for PUBG; here’s the fact check

A post has surfaced on the internet in which a man can be seen in police custody, the claim attached to the picture is that he killed his friend because he didn’t give his 6x scope in PUBG.

The caption of the picture read: “A Japanese man killed his friend just because he didn’t give him 6x scope in PUBG”

FACT CHECK

When the fact checkers at NewsMobile checked the post, we found that the claim is Fake.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found an article by New China News Agency Xinhua dated September 27, 2018.

The person in the picture is 28-year-old Chinese man Zhao Zewei, who killed nine middle school students in a knife attack on April 27, 2018.

The picture is from Yulin Intermediate People’s Court in Yulin city, Northwest China’s Shaanxi province taken on July 10, 2018.

Hence, the above information proves that the claim is FAKE.
