These are some of the common problems faced by teenagers and how they can deal with it-

Bullying: The most common problem faced by teenagers is bullying. Bullying can really cause a harmful and long-lasting impact on the victim’s mind.

It adversely affects their mental health, their academics and it takes away their freedom and they no longer feel safe to come to their own school. The best way to deal with bullies is to stand up to them or talk to someone whom you trust and take their help.

Cyber Addiction: Another common problem faced by teenagers is addiction to their phones. They feel the constant need to check their various social media accounts and just constantly be behind a screen.

It adversely impacts their sleep schedule, leads to procrastination and wastes a lot of time in general. The only way to fight cyber addiction is sheer determination and self-control.

Low Self Esteem: The constant comparison of your physical features amongst your classmates leads to self-doubt and a low self-esteem.

Teenagers feel the need to be perfect and consider everything different about them “flaws”. This leads to low self-esteem and they should deal with this by talking bout their feelings with a trusted adult and embracing their flaws.

Time Management: In today’s world, there are so many distractions affecting teenagers which makes time-management the biggest issue.

As you get older, more work piles up and the distractions also increase. It is essential to balance your studies, sleep and social life. This can be done by making a time-table.

Peer Pressure: The desire to fit in and to be respected and well- liked by your peers by doing things that you would not usually be comfortable doing is peer pressure.

Teenagers are largely affected by peer pressure which often makes them do wrong things. It is extremely important to take a stand for yourself and to trust what you think is the right thing to do.
