FACT CHECK

The team of fact-checkers at NewsMobile checked the viral picture and found that the above picture is FAKE.

On running the picture through various Reverse Image Search tools, we found the original picture, which was clicked on October 18th, 2013 in Chennai before Narendra Modi took over the Prime Minister’s office.

The picture was clicked during the release of a book authored by Arun Shourie at a function organised by Nani Palkhivala Foundation.

On closely observing REAL vs FAKE collage, it is clearly visible that the book was replaced by a placard using photoshop.

Hence, the above post is FAKE.
